The Down East Folk Arts Society has started its new season of concerts, dances, and outreach programs & we hope you will consider becoming a 2007-2008 member. Membership entitles you to *discounts, quarterly newsletters, e-mail updates, and the option to buy season tickets.

More importantly, becoming a member helps to ensure the future of folk programming in Carteret and Craven Counties. Our 2007-2008 activities include:

  • Monthly Contra Dances - September through May (except December)
  • Folk Concerts - September through May (except December)
  • Contra Dance Classes (TBA)
  • New Year’s Eve Contra Dance Retreat
  • Outreach performances at schools & Community centers
  • Member discounts: concerts: $3 per person / dances: $2 per person (except fundraisers)

Season Tickets

Members will once again have the opportunity to purchase Season Tickets for our Concert Series. Season ticket packages are $80 per person and include tickets for both large and small venue concerts. For more information call (252) 504-2787.
